Booking Policy: Terms & Conditions
Please read our booking policy carefully before scheduling your appointment. By booking with us, you agree to these terms and conditions.

Booking Fees
A non-refundable £30 booking fee is required for all treatments. This fee is redeemable against the total cost of your treatment, provided all terms of this policy are met.

Fee​

If the treatment is deemed unsuitable or declined: If you have booked a treatment without firstly booking a consultation and the practitioner deems it unsuitable for you, or if you decide not to proceed, any booking fee paid will be retained to cover the cost of the practitioner's time and administration.

Important: If you are unsure whether a treatment is right for you, we strongly advise booking a consultation first so we can provide appropriate guidance. Please ensure your personal details, especially your email address, are entered correctly. All correspondence regarding your appointment will be sent via email.

Appointments: Rescheduling & Cancellations

Redeeming Your Booking Fee: Booking fees are redeemable from the treatment price on the day of your procedure, unless stated otherwise.

Rescheduling: We understand emergencies happen. You may reschedule your appointment and transfer your booking fee to a new date if you provide at least 48 hours' notice. If your appointment is less than 48 hours away, you will need to cancel and book a new appointment. In this instance, the original booking fee will be retained, and you will need to pay a new booking fee for the new appointment.

How to Reschedule/Cancel: You'll receive a reminder email before your appointment. To cancel or reschedule, simply click the dedicated button within your appointment confirmation email.

Cancellations: Please note that the booking fee will be retained for all cancelled appointments, regardless of notice given. It is your responsibility to reschedule your appointment within the specified timeframe (48 hours).

Running Late

If you are running late, please inform us as soon as possible by calling 0191 3037609. If there's no answer, please leave a message.

Please be aware that if you are more than 15 minutes late, we may not be able to see you, and your appointment may need to be cancelled in this instance the booking fee will be retained.

New Patients

All treatments are carried out at the discretion of our Nurse Practitioner. We reserve the right to decline treatment if we believe you have been previously over-treated or are otherwise unsuitable. In such cases, the booking fee will be retained.

We strongly advise booking a consultation before booking any treatment.

If you are a new patient with underlying health conditions, allergies, or are taking medication, please book a "New Patient Consultation" before scheduling any treatment as we will need to discuss this in more detail.

Botox Review Appointments

We offer review appointments 2–3 weeks after your initial treatment. This session allows your nurse to assess your results and discuss any side effects.

New Patients: If this is your first treatment with Cellular Skin Clinic, your review and any necessary "top-up" doses are complimentary. This helps us safely determine your perfect dose.

Existing Patients: If additional doses are required (more than your usual dose), this will be chargeable at a premium of £20. Please also note that receiving a top-up will delay your next full treatment by 4 weeks. This is to prevent Botox resistance from over exposure (the treatment no longer working)

A Note on Safety: Additional doses are administered at the Nurse’s discretion. We aim for the "less is more" approach to prevent Botox resistance, ensuring the medication remains effective for you long-term.

Reviews cannot be carried out after 3 weeks.

If you miss your review appointment and more than 3 weeks have passed since your original treatment, a review may be declined.

We cannot be held accountable for missed anti-wrinkle review appointments due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness, COVID-19 restrictions or lockdowns, as these measures are beyond our control.

Clinic Policy: Children

For health, safety, and insurance reasons, no children under the age of 16 are permitted in the clinic treatment areas.

There is a reception area where well-behaved children may wait, but they must be accompanied by an adult over 18 at all times.

We do not accept responsibility or liability for any accidents involving any person (including children) within the building, or for any person found in breach of these terms and conditions.

Disability Access
Our clinic is located on the ground floor and offers disability access, including a disabled toilet.

Age Requirements (Under 25s)

By law, you must be over 18 years old for any injectable cosmetic treatments.

If you are 25 years old or younger, you must bring photo identification (passport or driving card) to your appointment. You may be asked to present this during your consultation.

Failure to provide valid identification when requested will result in the Nurse Practitioner refusing treatment.

No-Shows

If you do not attend your treatment appointment without prior notice, any future booking requests must be made via email.

Online appointments will only be authorised upon receipt of payment.

It is at the discretion of the Nurse Practitioner whether your booking will be confirmed. Please note: in this instance, the full price of treatment may need to be paid in advance and non-refundable.

Pre-Paid & Discounted Treatment Courses

Discounted treatments are offered on the condition that you complete the full course/treatment plan.

If you decide to cancel a course/package/treatment plan midway through treatment and have untaken treatments, the remaining balance for untaken treatments will be loaded onto a Melissa Aesthetics Gift Card which will be valid for 6 months. We are unable to process partial refunds back to your payment card.

Treatments already received will be charged at their full, non-discounted price and deducted from the balance

A cancellation fee of £30 per pre-booked upcoming appointment will also be deducted from the overall balance

All treatments are non-refundable; no refunds will be given for completed treatments or courses. **Updated 4/8/2025*

PayPal pay in 3
To help you manage payments, we offer PayPal Pay in 3. Kindly note that all aesthetic treatments carried out at Melissa Aesthetics are non-refundable. Information about pre-paid treatment courses can be found in our 'Pre-paid and Treatment Courses' section.
